Declarations for June 2022

Oh yes, like an untamable wind, the hours are flying into days, days into weeks and weeks into months. I honestly do not know how we got here but we are here and headed for the Christmas season before you know it. Around the same time last year I wrote about the mid-year crisis and  how it cunningly finds a way to creep into our minds and thoughts. So I want you and I to decree and declare over this season and cause a shift in our spiritual atmosphere.

Declare with me...

  • The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?
  • The Lord is with me; He is my helper.
  • The Fear of man, systems and institutions of this world will prove to be a snare to me, but because I trust in the Lord, He will keep me safe.
  • The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and He delivers us.
  • I will not fear because the Lord is with me;
  • I will not be dismayed, for He is my God.
  • The Lord will strengthen me and help me; He will uphold me with His righteous right hand.
  • The Lord has redeemed me; He has summoned me by name; I am His.
  • I will not worry about my life, what I will eat; or about my body, what I will wear. Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. I have considered the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn, yet my God and Father feeds them. And how much more valuable am I than these birds? I am more valuable to my father than 5 sparrows.
  • I will cast all my cares on the Lord and He will sustain me; He will never let the righteous fall.
  • We have prayed to the Lord, and He will answer us. He will free us from all our fears.

We declare it is so and so it is in Jesus’ name! AMEN!

He Gave Us Riches

Yes His resurrection power gave us the riches of His glory as revealed in Revelations 5:12 AMP, “Worthy and deserving is the Lamb that was sacrificed to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing.” Do you know that our Father Jesus Christ  owns it EVERYTHING? Asaph the Psalmist echoed this in Psalms 50:10-12 AMP:

10“For every beast of the forest is Mine,

And the cattle on a thousand hills.

11 “I know every bird of the mountains,

And everything that moves in the field is [b]Mine.

12  “If I were hungry, I would not tell you,

For the world and all it contains are Mine.

If He owns it ALL, and we are His children, and we have received Him as our Lord and savior, sharing in His resurrection power, then, you and I have received the power to lack nothing! There’s no lack in His Kingdom - everything multiplies and abounds. There’s no hunger, there’s no poverty because of His riches and his glory. Apart from our material needs, His riches also extends to our spiritual and emotional needs. In Him we have our joy, peace, love and sound-mindedness. Nothing is rationed in God’s kingdom.

I pray that as you go through your week you will see the power of His riches and abundance over every area of your life that is experiencing scarcity. May the Lord clothe you with riches and glory. AMEN!

He Gave Us Power!

Welcome back and if you did not read last week’s blog, please take a moment to read it as this is a continuation of an Eight (8) part series based on the scripture in Revelations 5:12 AMP. Today my focus is on the POWER that we received through the sacrifice of Jesus’ death on the cross and His ascension into heaven.

In my short time here on earth thus far, I have seen enough of what power can do to people and to humanity as a whole. I also know what being powerless can do to a person and I do not want to be on this side of it. Powerlessness opens the door to any and every attack upon your life. You will think that the world is gracious towards the powerless - NO, it is not. When you are powerless, you become vulnerable and susceptible to life. The spirit of God has breathed upon you His power when you came to accept Christ as your Lord and personal savior, but, until you recognize it, acknowledge and activate it, you will live in ignorance and powerlessness forever. In my misery, I embarked on a journey to understand the power of God - His divinity and Sovereignty. It was through this understanding that I woke up from my defeated thinking. If the same power that raised Christ Jesus from the dead resides in me, then I am empowered to do ALL things through Him who gives me strength. In case you’re wondering how powerful God is and the power He has given you, check out these scriptures:

Colossians 1:16 ESV: For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.

Psalm 62:11 ESV: Once God has spoken; twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God,

Matthew 19:26 ESV : But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

2 Timothy 1:7 ESV: For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

2 Peter 1:3 ESV: His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence.

Ephesians 3:20-21 ESV: Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

May the Lord breathe upon you His glorious power this week in Jesus’ name. AMEN!
