He Gave Us GLORY

The Sixth (6th) gift we received through the resurrection power of Jesus Christ as confirmed in Revelations 5:12 AMP is GLORY. “Worthy and deserving is the Lamb that was sacrificed to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing.”

The glory of God is the radiance of His spirit. It is not a tangible kind of radiance but it can manifest physically. In Exodus 34:29-35, we see that Moses' face shone so bright with the glory and radiance of God when he came down from Mt. Sinai. The Israelites couldn’t even look at him because of the light that was emanating from His face. Moses had to put a veil on his face in a way to help them out. That is what the presence of God does to us! We are children of light - our Father Jesus is light and through his resurrection power, we have become the bearer of His light. During the transfiguration (Luke 9:28-36), we see the physical manifestation of God’s glory on Jesus, so much so that the disciples were struggling to see through the light.

I contend daily for God’s light to cover all over me because darkness flees at the sight of even a tiny flame of light. So, like Jesus commanded us in Matthew 5:14-16 AMP, “You are the light of [Christ to] the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; 15 nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence, and [recognize and honor and] glorify your Father who is in heaven.

May the GLORY of GOD be seen in and around your life daily. AMEN!

Declarations for July 2022

Seven (7) is said to be a number of completion and it was symbolic in ancient near eastern and Israelite culture and literature. It communicates a sense of “fullness” or “completeness” so decree and declare with me, that in this Seventh (7th) month of the year 2022;

  • Our good Lord Who has begun a good work in us will bring it to completion.
  • We will not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old because God is doing a new thing in our lives.
  • He is making a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert for us.
  • We will not see the rain or feel the wind but our valleys will be filled with water.
  • The Lord has heard our prayers and requests and He is hastening it in this season.
  • We will see the goodness of the Lord every morning.
  • His presence will go before us like a cloud in the day and a pillar of fire in the night.
  • The works of our hands are blessed and everything we touch will be multiplied.
  • All our pursuits in life will be connected to His purpose.
  • He will glorify Himself in every area of our lives.

We declare it is so and so it is in Jesus’ name. AMEN! Happy Independence Day to you all!

He Gave Us HONOR

I heard from my mentor that you can respect yourself but you cannot HONOR yourself. Honor is bestowed upon you and that is what the resurrecting power of our Lord and Father Jesus Christ did for us. He gave us honor according to Revelations 5:12 AMP, “Worthy and deserving is the Lamb that was sacrificed to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing.”

Honor I learned is the discerning, celebrating and placing value on individuals for their uniqueness. Jesus Christ through His resurrection conferred upon us different gifts and talents to bless the body of Christ and the kingdom of God. Each of us carries a special gift that is needed and we need to see that and celebrate each other for what we are able to contribute to His kingdom. In 1 Peter 2:17 KJV, He commands us to ”Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.”  He further commands us through the Apostle Paul in Romans 12:10 ESV, to “Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor”

In so many ways we have not shown honor to people, maybe we didn’t know that we are commanded to honor both the least and the greatest person we know. This is our opportunity to start sowing a seed of HONOR in everyone we encounter. By doing so, we will be honoring the Lord in fulfilling His word and command. Henry L. Stimson said “Honor begets Honor”. In other words, if you give honor, it will reproduce honor in your life as well. Let’s celebrate what God is doing in the lives of the people around us. AMEN!
