“Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation” (1 Peter 2:2).
Spiritual growth does not happen all at once; it develops through daily choices. Every time we pray, read God’s Word, or obey His guidance, we take another step toward becoming the people He created us to be.
Daily growth is important because our faith must be strengthened to face life’s challenges. Just as a plant needs regular sunlight, water, and nourishment, our souls need consistent time with God. Even when progress seems small, God uses faithful habits to deepen our wisdom, shape our character, and help us reflect Christ more clearly.
We do not need to be perfect to keep growing, we simply need to remain willing and connected to God. Philippians 1:6 reminds us that He who began a good work in us will carry it on to completion. When we surrender each day to Him, yesterday’s lessons become today’s strength, and today’s growth prepares us for tomorrow’s purpose.
I pray for you this week that God will instill in you a desire to grow daily. Let this be so and so it is in Jesus’ name. AMEN!

Lady Abena.
