I believe in God because He is faithful. As believers, sometimes saying that God is faithful sounds like a cliché, but I pray we never get tired of hearing it. His steadfastness and loyalty to His word is what makes Him faithful. He does what He says He will do. No word from Him ever returns to Him void until it has accomplished what He sent that word to do. (Isaiah 55:11 paraphrased). The Apostle Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 1:9, that the “God, who has called you into fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is FAITHFUL.

If your Christian walk is void of miracles or desired expectations, it does not mean God cannot keep His word. Be reminded daily of this scripture; “I did not speak in secret, in a land of darkness; I did not say to the offspring of Jacob, ‘Seek me in vain.’ I the LORD speak the truth; I declare what is right.” (Isaiah 45:19 ESV).

When the Spirit of God dwells in you, He helps you in keeping your steadfast trust and loyalty to God. Honestly, even in our human relations, how easy is it to stay faithful and loyal? Especially when you’re dealing with a person who does not reciprocate faithfulness and loyalty? BUT, the God we serve, Him you can count on. When the whole world despises you, He’s still God of your life. You can run away, hide, turn to sin and yet, when you return to Him, He’ll throw a party to welcome you back. He is faithful and He will remain faithful to eternity.

I pray for you this week that you God will continue to show Himself FAITHFUL to you and your families. May He count it worthy to bring everything He has spoken concerning your life into manifestation. I declare it is so and so it is in Jesus’ name. AMEN!
