We use the word “GOOD” quite often in our conversations but have you really thought about the full meaning of GOOD? Anything good to me means it’s worthy, it is approved, it blesses me and others, it enriches my life, it creates joy and happiness, it makes me whole, it encompasses everything I need to be fulfilled. When the Psalmist declared that goodness and mercy will pursue us all the days of our lives, he meant everything that nourishes our lives, anything that is morally acceptable, pure and worthy will find us. (Psalm 23:6 paraphrased).
God is a GOOD God, that is why He gives His children good things. The bible says that “every good and perfect gift comes from our Father in heaven in whom there’s no vacillation.” (James 1:17). When the spirit of God is truly dwelling in you, you carry goodness as a shield. The world will see the goodness of God through your life. People will experience blessings because of the Spirit in you which produces goodness.
My prayer for you this week is that you will be someone’s answered prayer to receive the goodness of God. May the Lord make your life overflow with abundance so you can pour it out into others. I declare it is so and so it is in Jesus’ name. AMEN!
