I stumbled on a reel a few days ago from a young and famous preacher who was sharing what God revealed to him about a few men who had tried to do ministry but could not succeed. To him, the pattern he saw was that they were up in age and God was directing him that their time to have started to build was over.
This got me thinking about several things, one being that life is designed in seasons and hence every 10-20 years come with a different level of capacity. We cannot always cheat nature physiologically but I do believe that when it comes to purpose, God can restore time and capacity to accomplish it. There are people who have defied so much in life to be walking miracles, literally speaking. There are many whose life assignments started in their older years. Someone’s purpose can be as young as a month old and he/she will be out and gone. If it is from God, He can always position you no matter what stage you are in life to make an impact on that specific generation and beyond, all for His glory.
I want to encourage someone that your PURPOSE is never too late as long as you are alive and healthy. It can still be achieved and accomplished in due time. It took Noah 100 years to complete the ark. Abraham did not hold Isaac until he was over a century old. The Psalmist prayed in Psalms 71:9 CSB that;
“Don’t discard me in my old age. As my strength fails, do not abandon me.”
I hold on to this prayer and pray it over my family and friends daily. Our time on earth will be fulfilling to the end. We will not miss our assignment/purpose. It will all be accomplished in due time. Let this be so and so it is in Jesus’ name. Amen.
XOXO,
Lady Abena.
