Well, I’ve been taunting you all since January that 2025 will come to an end before we know it and here it is. In just three days this year will be gone and never to return again in our lifetime. Life is a mystery you know and I am personally grateful to God for the gift of life. Not a single day’s date will ever repeat itself as long as you live. This is enough reason for us to revere God.
I don’t know how your year 2025 has been thus far but I hope above all things that you have something to thank God for. I’m curious to know how you spend your final days of the year but I’ll share mine. The last few days of the year are quite solemn for me – I reflect a lot on every aspect of my life and the decisions and choices I made. My wins, my failures and I also use it as an opportunity to strategize for the coming year. I purge my mind, body, soul and spirit. I let go of anything that did not serve me right. I literally hit the reset and calibration button of my life to be able to experience total wholeness. Please note that none of these exercises are as fun as it sounds but they are very needed.
I am a strong believer that life hands you what you invest into it so putting in the work will yield the right results. Joshua 3:5-6 AMP is a very profound scripture that provides direction on how to crossover into a new season of life;
“5 Then Joshua said to the people, “Sanctify yourselves [for His purpose], for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders (miracles) among you.” 6 Joshua said to the priests, “Take up the ark of the covenant and cross over [the river] ahead of the people…”
My dear friend, your life is too precious to walk into a new year unprepared. No power, no vision, no strategy. Nah – you can do better. “Whatever will be will not be” – we have to be extremely intentional about life or life will hand us whatever it has. I don’t know about you but I like my ability to choose and not to be handed whatever is available. Ever since I surrendered my ALL to Christ, that “take this or leave it” card does not show up in my day. In all honesty, that’s the story of most people – they do not have the ability to choose. By God’s grace I have the privilege of engaging different people from different spheres of life. You’ll hear most tell you, “I don’t have a choice” and I’m usually saddened by that because you do have a choice.
I hope you will join me to make a choice to engage the Heavens to stand with us as we cross into 2026. I pray that you will make God front and center of everything you do. Walking in the supernatural daily is easier than running to God when life howls at you. Life is very easy with God so much so that even in the midst of chaos or uncertainty, you still have peace. Why won’t you choose to pursue God?
I pray that you will spend this crossover season differently so you can experience total wholeness in the new year.
